Uttar Pradesh government has launched UP Nivesh Mitra which acts as a single window portal for entrepreneurs and businessmen. This portal provides seventy services from twenty departments of Uttar Pradesh which are related to businesses and industries. The primary objective of the portal is to provide solutions to businesses in simple processes by facilitating entrepreneurs with an electronic-based transparent system for online submission and tracking of applications.

This is followed by online fee payment. It is necessary to speed up business/company registration and formalities to start a business in the state. The Government of Uttar Pradesh especially leads the economic development of the state in order to gain attractiveness for investment in the state to increase the job opportunities.
