Sugarcane farmers will get increased price from this crushing season. The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the sugarcane price by Rs 25 for the crushing season 2021-22. Sugarcane farmers will no longer have to upload Khatauni as revenue land proof while filling the declaration form. The Central Government has increased the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) of sugarcane by Rs 5 to Rs 290 per quintal.
