The Raj Kisan Saathi Portal registration process has been started online by the Government of Rajasthan at rajkisan.rajasthan.gov.in. Around 150+ mobile apps will be available at one place for the farmers on this portal. As we all know that farmers are the backbone of the Indian nation. Farmers supply us with food items like pulses, rice, wheat etc which comes from their hard work in the fields. Now the state government is going to start the farmer registration process so that they will be able to take advantage of the scheme online.

Now, after applying online through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode, the benefits of most of the farmer schemes can be availed. The state government schemes of the central government are also included in this application process. But some farmers have to do offline registration for farmers’ schemes, for which they have to travel unnecessary to government offices. In addition, farmers faced inconvenience in filling the application forms of government schemes, which are invited on various portals. The Single Window Rajasthan Raj Kisan Saathi Portal will be beneficial for the farmers involved in both agriculture and animal husbandry. On this portal, farmers will be able to apply online for all farmer welfare schemes at one place. 150+ apps for farmers of Rajasthan at one place
About 150 apps will be developed for farmers which will be available on Raj Kisan Saathi Portal. Rajasthan state government has issued instructions to develop user friendly apps for various schemes. The main objective is to ensure that farmers can easily apply online for these “Farmer Welfare Schemes”, which will also promote transparency. A Project Management Unit has been set up to review the work of app development. Of the 150 apps that are to be developed, around 20 apps have already been completed.
Development of Raj Kisan Saathi Portal under Ease of Doing Farming
The Rajasthan Kisan Saathi Portal is being developed under the “Ease of Doing Farming” initiative of the Government of Rajasthan. The main plus point of this Raj Kisan Sathi official website would be to provide farmer centric services at one place. Farmers will be able to access information related to agriculture and fill the application form for various subsidies with the concerned department. This portal has been developed in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology and Communication, Rajasthan.

Most of the schemes in India provide benefits to farmers through DBT mode, for which farmers have to apply online. The main feature of Raj Kisan Sathi Portal is that after applying online for the schemes, applicants will receive step by step process messages on their registered mobile phones. On the portal, agriculture machinery, horticulture, agricultural marketing, cooperatives, animal husbandry, fisheries department, seed corporation and organic certification body have been included.
