PM Balika Anudan Yojana Registration 2021-2022
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the PM Balika Anudan Yojana scheme to help BPL families. It provides Rs.50,000 for two daughters’ marriages and Rs.50,000 each for two daughters of widowed mothers. The scheme will cover both the girl and boy children in families with two children.
The scheme will not cover more than two girls’ children. Be sure to carefully read the eligibility criteria. The scheme also covers the legally adopted girl child. The central government will release the notification regarding the scheme.

The scheme’s objectives
These are the goals of PM Balika anudan Yojana-
- The scheme’s main purpose is to empower and protect women from BPL-category families.
- BPL families will receive financial assistance up to Rs.50,000 under the scheme. This will allow the families to plan for their daughters’ weddings.
- The scheme grant will also apply to girl children adopted from BPL-category families.
- This scheme will encourage the birth of girls’ children so that the country’s sex ratio, which is currently very unstable and disturbed, will be stabilized.
- Financially disadvantaged families will be eligible for financial assistance.
- The scheme will provide financial assistance and medical treatment to the families of the BPL girl child.
PM Balika Anudan Yojana Eligibility Criteria –
- The family’s annual income should not exceed Rs15000 per year.
- This scheme’s beneficiaries should not be direct beneficiaries of any other girl-child scheme.
- Beneficiaries of the scheme include daughters from BPL-category families.
- Each parent should work as a contractor for at least one year and deposit the salary.
- Two girls from the same family can be eligible for the scheme if they are both BPL.

- This scheme will assist BP category families that don’t have enough money to pay for their daughters’ marriages.
- All issues related to the marriages of girl children within the BPL family category will be minimized.

Steps to apply for the PM Balika Anudan Yojana
The scheme has not yet been officially announced. The official date and portal for registration will be announced by the central government. Soon, the applicants to the scheme will receive an invitation to apply. It is available for all girls in the country. Therefore, it may take some time for it to be implemented.

The PM Balika Anudan Yojana scheme was launched by the central government to benefit daughters from the Below poverty line. Online application for marriage grants is easy.

- To apply for the grant, first, visit the official site.
- Click on the new registration button on the official website. The applicant must specify the caste in which he/she wishes to apply and to what category General, Scheduled Caste, Backward Class, etc.
- The application form will now appear on your screen. The applicant should carefully fill out the application form.
- Print the form, and send it to the appropriate authority. Your form will then reach the Uttar Pradesh government.
- This grant is only for Uttar Pradesh BPL families. The form must be printed and taken to the District Backward Classes Welfare Officer. Send the completed form to the address provided and receive the receipt.

Additional information about the scheme
This scheme can only be used to marry the girl’s child. If a family has more than one girl child, both girls will receive the grant.
The income certificate must be presented by the beneficiary family. The income must not exceed Rs 15,000 PA. Although the official website for applying for the scheme is not yet available, the central government will soon launch it.
