Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is now allowing people to apply for LPG gas connection online from the comfort of their homes. Once the applicant gets a new gas connection, he can book the cylinders every month through call or SMS from the registered mobile numbers. The central government revises the LPG gas cylinder prices on 1st of every month and attracts 12 cylinder subsidy in a year.

Amid Coronavirus (COVID-19) Lockdown, Bharatgas Online New Connection Registration System has been launched. It enables people to apply for new Bharat Gas connection through online mode which was earlier limited to offline mode only. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is used as a cooking fuel connection and is the cleanest source for cooking and cooking food in Indian homes. There are many providers of LPG who supply the product to the Indian market and BPCL (Bharat Gas) is one of them. People can now complete all the formalities online at their convenience and there is no need to visit any nearest distributor.

All the applicants may keep a copy of photograph, proof of identity (POI) and proof of address (POA) ready before filling the New Bharat Gas Connection online form.

Bharat Gas New Connection Online Application / Registration Form

Below is the complete procedure to fill Bharat Gas New Connection Online Application / Registration Form:-

• First of all you have to visit the official website of Bharat Gas Connection. https://ebharatgas.com/ebharat/forHome/home.html will go on.
• then on the home page “Get a New Connection” Click the link.

• in new window, “Find Your Nearest Bharatgas Distributors” section and then “State” And “District” enter name and “Show List” Click on the button.

• After this, the list of nearest Bharat Gas Distributors will open in which the name, location, contact, address of the distributor is given here.

• On selecting the nearest LPG gas distributor and clicking on the “Continue” tab, Your Customer (KYC) form will appear as follows:-

• Here applicants can enter their personal details, address/contact information for LPG connection, other relevant details, details related to cash transfer, document submission, etc.
• Finally applicants can tick the declaration, enter the captcha, validate the OTP sent on SMS and e-mail id and complete the process of filling the New Bharat Gas Connection online application form “Submit” Click on the button.

Once the registration process is approved on my.ebharatgas.com portal for issue of LPG connection, you can make online payment and complete the process. Also, if applicants do not have scanned copies of documents, people can still apply online and submit photographs and copies of POI and POA along with the printed copy of their online application to the distributor.

Offline Process to Apply for Bharat Gas New Connection

To apply for a new gas connection through offline mode, please follow the steps mentioned below:-

• Visit your nearest Bharat Gas dealer or office and collect an application form.
• Submit the filled Bharat Gas Registration Form along with required documents to the dealer or office.
• Applicants will receive a call confirming your request and your application will be processed within 4 to 5 working days.

Bharat Gas Booking Online Process

After submitting the required forms and completing the process of filling the Bharat Gas Connection Online Registration Form, people can start booking for Bharat Gas Connection. You can do this either online or offline. For online booking, applicants can place their booking order online by signing in to their Bharat Gas account and “Booking” option can be selected. People have to enter the asked details correctly such as the date and time of delivery and form submission. Afterwards, a notification will be sent to confirm your booking. It is important to note that Bharat Gas will accept bookings only after 21 days from the previous booking.

Bharat Gas Booking Through SMS

If the Bharat Gas beneficiary resides in a metro city or state capital, then booking can be done easily through SMS. People have to register their mobile number with their local Bharat Gas LPG distributor. After successful registration, the beneficiary will be at 57333 “LPG” You can book a cylinder by sending a message. Those using Tata, Vodafone, MTNL and Idea as their service provider can send SMS to 52725. After sometime, call confirmation with booking reference number will be received on the registered mobile number. Once your cylinder is delivered, you will receive an SMS confirming the delivery.

Bharat Gas Booking through IVRS

You can book cylinder through 24 X 7 IVRS facility which is now available across the country. For this purpose, you need to register your landline or mobile number with your local Bharat Gas distributor. You can then call on the IVRS number of your state and follow the instructions to book your cylinder. If you have registered your mobile number, you will receive a confirmation SMS.

Bharat Gas Booking through Mobile App (for Android and iPhone)

Smart phone users can download the “Bharat Gas” mobile app from the Play Store or from the official website. To activate the booking service you need to provide both your mobile number, distributor code and subscriber, which are available on the Transparency portal (accessible through the official website). Submit the information, after which you will receive an activation code. You will have to provide a security code, which you will have to enter every time you use the app.

Bharat Gas LPG Subsidy Registration with Aadhar Card

People can now avail any of the LPG gas subsidy schemes based on the eligibility criteria. Now registration of Bharat Gas LPG subsidy can also be done through Aadhar card. For this purpose, people can link their Aadhar card with bank account and get subsidy directly in your bank account through DBT mode. To register for the subsidy, the beneficiary needs to provide Aadhaar card details, bank details like bank name, IFSC/ MICR code, account number and his/her name.

Registration for LPG Subsidy without Aadhar Card

In case the applicant does not have an Aadhar card, he can submit his bank account details to his local Bharat Gas Distributor. Then the distributor will issue an acknowledgment slip for the same. Applicants have to provide subsidy form called “PAHAL” which can be collected from distributor or can be downloaded online from official website.
