Now all the textile units of the state can register online on the official website of the Directorate of Textiles. With this, the textile units will be able to take advantage of the new State Textile Promotion Policy 2018-23. All textile units can apply online for Electric Subsidy / Electricity Subsidy after registering online and getting approval from Textile Department.

The textile industry contributes to about 14% of India’s total industrial output, 4% of GDP and 13% of total exports.
