Chhattisgarh Mahtari Dular Scheme 2022

Chhattisgarh Mahtari Dular Yojana has been started by the state government on 14th May. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that from the current academic session, Kovid orphans will be covered under CG Mahtari Dular Yojna. In this scheme, free school education (education) will be provided along with scholarship to those children who have become orphans due to corona virus. All the COVID orphan students studying in government or private schools will get annual scholarship. This amount is Rs 500 and Rs for students of class I to VIII. 1000 for class 9th to 12th students. Under the Chhattisgarh Mahtari Dular Yojna, the state government will also fund the education of children who have lost the family breadwinner to COVID-19. Such children will also get priority in admission in Government Swami Atmanand English Medium School.

CG Mahtari Dular Yojana Scholarship / Stipend amount to COVID orphan students

Through the CG Mahtari Dular Yojana, the government will also provide scholarships to the students studying in any Govt. or private school. The amount of scholarship/stipend will be as follows:-

Along with this, it has also been decided by the Chhattisgarh State Government that the education of the children whose main earning member of the family has died due to corona, will also be arranged by the Government of Chhattisgarh. The state government has decided that if these children apply for admission in Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools started in the state, they will be given priority admission and no fee will be charged from them.

In the midst of the fight against Covid-19, the Chhattisgarh government has decided to bear the cost of education of children orphaned by corona virus infection. The government will implement this initiative through Chhattisgarh Mahtari Dular Yojana (CMDS). This scheme will be implemented from the current financial year 2021. The Chhattisgarh government will bear the entire cost of education of the children who lost their parents due to corona during this financial year.
