AP YSR Vidyonnathi Scheme 2022

Andhra Pradesh government has released the AP YSR Vidhyanti Yojana Notification (earlier NTR Vidhyanti Yojana). Under this scheme, the state government will provide free civil services coaching to the students of backward classes. AP Govt has opened the registrations and interested BC students can fill out the AP YSR Vidyonnathi Online Application Form at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in.

All candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), Kapus, Brahmins, Minorities and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) students are eligible to apply. The government will sponsor all selected candidates for UPSC Civil Services Examination (Prelims & Mains) for 9 months in reputed coaching centres.

This exam is free of cost and anyone who fulfils the eligibility conditions can apply online. NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme Entrance Exam will be held on 26th June 2021. Interested candidates can apply online before 2nd June 2021.

AP YSR Vidyalaya Yojana – Full Details

This new version of NTR Vidonanthi Yojana receives an average of around 65,000 applications annually. The scheme had several issues like cumbersome paper submission, delay in declaration of results, lack of transparency in the selection process, etc. when operated without automation. Now under Gyanbhoomi the automated, critical process of application submission, allotment of examination centres and nominal rolls, online examination, generation of hall tickets and declaration of results, online, are improving the efficiency and transparency of the system.

The attendance of students, academicians, periodic inspections of coaching institutes by welfare officers and other monitoring mechanisms and release of stipend/institutional fee to students/coaching institutions will be taken care of by the Gyanbhoomi system.

Who are eligible for YSR Vidhyanti Yojana

The scheme provides financial assistance to SC, ST, BC, EBC (other than Kapu), minority, Brahmin and Kapu students to meet the coaching fees and expenses for All India Civil Services and State Group Services.

Eligibility Criteria and Exam Details

Age Limit (As on 1st August 2021)

For Kapu, Brahmin, Minority and EBC candidates, the permissible age group is between 21 to 32 years. For Backward class candidates, age should be 21 to 35 years. SC/ ST candidates in the age group of 21 to 37 years are eligible. The upper age limit for Differently Abled Candidates (PWD) is 42 years.
Resident Applicant must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh.
educational qualification

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized institute. Final year candidates can also apply.
income limit The annual income of the applicant’s family from all sources should not exceed Rs.6 lakhs.

Only first time candidates allowed

 Candidates who got coaching in previous years i.e. 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 are not eligible.
seats The AP government will upload the number of seats (department and corporation wise) on the Gyanbhoomi portal.

Exam Papers and Marks

 The question paper will be bilingual i.e. in Telugu and English language. There will be 150 questions for 150 marks.
Exam duration The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes.

The AP government will provide the complete institute fee to the candidates directly along with the monthly fee to the candidates.
